It looks and feels better than the photo. I had a leather couch prior to this one and it scratched far too easily so I was very concerned about buying another. I took the chance and I'm glad I did. It does not have the same inferior quality that my old couch had, and is far more durable. I have pets that jump up on it and it does not affect the appearance. A quick swipe with a damp cloth and it's as good as new again. LOVE IT, so glad I bought it. The only negative was that I wish the seat cushions were a few inches longer for people who have longer legs as my husband does. That is his (not mine, I'm shorter) only complaint about it. Color is darker than what is pictured, almost looks black at first glance. Not complaining because I actually like it. The rivets on the arms are add a great accent. The parts connect easily, but if you are installing on a rug you don't even need to connect them. I want the rest of this collection!
