A&E Cage Co. The “O" Parrot Play Stand - J6

Where to begin? Disappointed, to say the least, in the product for this price! Would have probably returned if we didn't have to take it apart. There are a couple of edges where the metal is not ground down well, only a portion of the end tubes are completely welded closed, the perches and ladder rungs are too soft a wood for a large parrot (blue & gold macaw), the food bowls just sit inside the metal brackets - the brackets should probably be smaller (or at least adjustable) to fit snugly around the bowls, the seed tray is too close to the grate, the instructions are bleak, the screws were in a small zip lock type bag (not prepackaged) & most of them wouldn't work for this product, and we didn't even bother with the seed guards. Overall, my bird has enjoyed tearing up the wood - which we expected - but we also would have expected a harder wood (will use pvc tubing as replacement - easy enough).

[...] I thought our DYH amazon parrot wouldn't be able to climb off it, but he can. He can get up on the edge of the seed catcher, which means he can also "poop" over the edge.
