This is a nice cage, but the assembly instructions or lack there of leave a lot to be desired. After sorting the parts, screws etc. I would rate the assembly as medium.

Arrived in two parcels weighing over 90 lbs each. The "Directions" is a one page single picture of the cage parts floating in place - no diagrams, labels, or written directions. Missing nuts & bolts. We had to find the missing parts. The nuts and bolts turned out to be metric measurements which we had a tough time finding in the right length. We had to improvise It was still relatively simple to put together. Definitely a two person job. Altogether the cage is really great. My bird loves her new home. My only complaint (other than the assembly) is that the coating didn't quite finish on the lip of the drawer. So, when pulling the storage drawer open, it feels sharp, rough, and generally uncomfortable. Doesn't matter to the bird though. This same cage sells for upwards of $600 locally so I still think it's worth it - especially with the free shipping.

I got my Jenday Conure from someone who could not deal with his screaming and the former owner had and loved this cage. I love it too. It's very strong, looks wonderful, easy to clean, and well designed. I would make a few design adjustments if I could but overall it's a great cage. Beware: The assembly "instructions" are a poorly drawn fuzzy picture. There are at least 8 different types of screws. It's infuriating to spend this much on something and get NO assembly instructions. I would have gladly paid full price if the cage had been shipped fully assembled. It took 3 of us 4 hours to put it together.

I had some issues with delivery. I was given 3 tracking numbers, one of which belonged to someone in another state. When I questioned it I was first told that yes the first tracking number went to: (they gave me the persons full name and address) and the other 2 were on their way to me. I was asked "Isn't that how you wanted it shipped?" I thought 1/3 of my cage was sitting in someone elses garage in another state. It was finally clarifed that I was given the wrong tracking number and my cage was only coming in 2 packages. I received them on different days which did not make sense. There were some severely bent pieces that were very difficult to assemble. Packaging could definitely be improved. 3 packages rather than 2 and a sturdier box would definitely help. I doubt UPS cares much about all the fragile & do not double stack stickers. This thing came from China. That's a LONG way to travel in a regular cardboard box w/slightly reinforced edges.

This is a great cage that is well built with lots of room. The storage drawer is hard to find on a birdcage but definately a must have. This cage is heavy duty and well built. The only flaw I can think of is the assembly instructions are very poor. Just a copy of one black and white picture of the cage assembled. Several different size screws to figure out where they go. Better instructions would save time and headache trying to assembly.

Bought this cage for my Hahn's macaw...he loves it! Plenty of room for perches and lots of toys.. cage was actually bigger than I expected (measurements are Without the seed skirt) & drawer at the bottom makes storing of treats and cage liners real handy. door latches are over-kill for my bird but are well made. Ad says this is for small birds but I would not want to put anything smaller than my hahn's in it due to the way the seed skirt attaches and the gap in the feeder doors.

Cage arrive one day EARLY (nice surprise!) and was very well packaged...all corners were reinforced with heavy cardboard..no damages and no missing parts. will definitely be back to purchase again
