My bird loves this cage!

I purchased this cage for my cockatiel and it is perfect! It is not a heavy duty cage but is more than strong enough for a cockatiel. My bird is so much happier with all the space he plays and sings so much more than he did in a smaller space. He also loves the open top although it did take several months for him to really feel comfortable climbing around and using the top space. My only minor complaint is that I'd love a couple more doors for food and water. Overall I think this cage is a really great value for a smaller bird.
NOT for a large parrot (pictured).

Very flimsy cage. Paint scraped off some of the bars. Cage did not fit together OR align well and crooked. I am handy so got out the tools to make repairs. Do not use for a parrot larger than a cockatiel as it could chew through the flimsy bars. It is lightweight, therefore not sturdy and it rattles. There is a wide, long space at the top of the cage on both sides, where each of the two upper doors are hinged, which a small bird could get its head stuck. This space is wider than the bar spacing. I made adjustments to fortify the cage, stopped it from rattling and filled in the long open space at the top so the budgies couldn't get their heads stuck. Do not use the wooden perches, they are not good for birds feet. Having made the adjustments, I keep a green cheeck conure and two budgies in the cage. For the three of them, this cage is huge. I use one 32" medium (3/4" diameter) comfy rope perch, and toys hanging from the top and along the sides of the cage. The 3 birds have lots of room to fly around inside until I get home from work to let them out.

This cage is exactly what I was looking for! I have two Linnies in it and they are active, happy, and love the opening top! VERY nice product for smaller birds (cockatiels or smaller).
Would purchase again

Best value for the money! Not meant for an african grey like the picture shows they will tear it up but for smaller birds it is great. Easy to assemble and clean!
