The cage was somewhat easy to put together however some nuts & screws were missing & had to be bought...any birdcage sold these days should have at least a wooden tree type perch & not a dowel because it is bad for any birds feet...I have not put my yellow nape in it yet so will give you his opinion when he decides to give it...it is a great cage but for 1 small parrot only...any animal needs to call their house a home & should live comfortably in it, so before purchasing a cage think of how much room your bird needs...we have 13 all indoor cats so my bird does not get to come out as much as he is used to so his home should be a safe haven & a comfortable one...all in all this is a great cage but make it as comfy for your feathered friend as you would want your own house to be...

We have a 3 year old white bellied Caique who just loves his new home. It was a snap to assemble - good fitting pieces - very sturdy. It is a great price for an easy to clean cage of its size. No down sides that I have noticed.

The construction of the dome top was not up to the same standard of the rest of the cage. When putting it together the holes did not line up properly. This was not due to shipping it was clearly a manufacture oversight in quality control. The seed catcher fit but they pre-drilled all the holes in the wrong spots. Had to buy my own self tamping screws to put together. other than that the cage is awesome.

This is a wonderful cage! Really easy to put together- even with less than descriptive instructions (mine didn't have any as far as putting the food door locks in, but it was easy enough to figure it out). Had no parts shortage and everything fit where it should. The finish seems tough, has no messy welds or edges, and is attractive (I bought the black/charcoal). The locks seem very sturdy as well. But the part that got me excited was a very simple thing...on the side, over the food dishes, there is one bar that makes it very hard for a bird to lift the bowl out of it's holder and dump their food or water! Maybe all cages nowadays come with this, but I've had cages with no such thing and my birds have made wasteful messes. It's really a simple, well designed cage that's good for small to medium size parrots. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

The birdcage was easy to assemble and easy to follow the directions. I knew that the bars might be a little to far apart for my finches, when I purchased it. A few of my birds did find ways out, so I used clear fishing line and weaved it between the bars and my birds rarely get out now. I love the look of the birdcage and it is easy to access the tray below to empty the bottom of the cage. I think the seed guard could do a better job of keeping the seed in the cage. Overall I recommend this particular cage.
