I bought this cage for my two cockatiels. It's a palace compared to their last cage. The cage is well built and was easy to put together. The two slide out bottoms make it easy to clean and keep the birds from picking through the leftover food from the bottom of the cage.

I bought this cage for my newly rescued parakeet who was housed in a small 14x18" cage. I am so glad that I did, because he is now a very happy bird . . . chirps all day long.( Advice: We put him in a room where he has a good view of the outside, and I placed our ipod near the cage. The music has really brought out the songster in him.) This cage is very well-made, easy to clean, sturdy and attractive. It is large enough for him to fly about, hop from perch to perch and climb all over. Since the bar spacing is 1/2" it is suitable for parakeets as well as larger birds. I think it is much better looking than the photos. Mine is "sandstone", a soft, neutral color that looks good in every room. The price was great too, as I research every web site imaginable looking for the best cage at the best price, and luckily I found A & E Cages at Student Market.com. I also checked out the pet stores in my area - no one could compare the price or quality of this cage. It does require assembly, but my husband followed the directions and in an hour we had our new cage ready to go. I love it. . . great purchse.
