"Hello Duran. As you noted, it is made to go outside and does have heavy powder coating on it. However, the lifespan of you aviary is dependent on too many variables to say exactly how long it will last. The aviary should definitely last several years at least, but if you live in an environment that gets a good amount of rain you may still start seeing rust spots even though there is heavy coating to resist that."

My birds love their Aviary

I love my Aviary...the price was right. It's sturdy and well made. My only complaint since it's outside and suppose to be made for the outdoors it is yellowing. The rust coloration shows on joints and it's locks. I would give it a five star but because it's rusting and the warrenty isn't anything to speak of I need to rate it less. The Aviary is easy to put together but you need two people. The cage arrives well packed. And again two people since it has weight to it and the boxes are rather large.
