Great Bird Cage!
Julie Birkes from Exeter, NE – Verified Buyer
I ordered the sandstone and, as another reviewer mentioned, it has a pinkish tinge to it. I was expecting more of a cream color but it still goes with my decor fine and doesn't detract from the overall cage imo. It has two small doors(4 1/2" x 5 1/2") near the top of the cage on the left and right side. They are useful when placing items in the cage but i don't know if they are practical otherwise. They have a weird pressure clip closure that can potential bend the bars or chip paint with repeated opening and closing. The couple times i did open them, i didn't damage the cage. The top is removable if you unscrew the 6 screws holding it down. Assembly was easy enough. I put the stand together first. One of the stand pieces was slightly bent. It was on a part of the stand that was easy to bend back and not affect the quality of the cage or stand. As for the cage, I just took every piece out and compared it to the picture in the instructions and it went together fine. It took about an hour to clean, dry and assemble both the cage and stand. The cage fit snug on the stand for me. It was a little tricky to get it properly positioned on the stand but i was lifting it alone. With help it would be a breeze to place. I used zip ties to hold the cage to the stand for piece of mind since it was a touch wiggly but it probably wasn't necessary. I just didnt want to have to worry if i moved it around. It is nice and roomy and the wheels slide easily on my carpet. It came with a spare door lock and one extra bolt, washer and nut of each size that was used. I am very pleased with my purchase and I hope this review helps you make your decision!
Good cage for the price.

Let me start off by saying that this cage comes with the WORST instructions, but I figured it out pretty easily. The only thing I had trouble with was the stand and trying to fit the cage on the stand. My husband and I thought the cage just sat on the stand...no......it doesn't. The side bars that stick out on the cage go under the stand. I had to unscrew some screws on the side of the cage so I could get the rest of it to fit but we did it. The cage doesn't even move on the stand. It's not going anywhere! So those of you that had problems with the stand not fitting, make sure the side bars go under the stand, not above. I also thought the metal bars were flimsy. Some of them were bent and you could move them easily. I'm using this cage for an umbrella cockatoo, and it will be a good cage to sleep in or to last for a little while, but eventually we are going to have to get a better one. Also, the food bowls and perches are too small for any large bird but the size of the cage is great compared to amazon cage sizes and prices.
Cage for small birds
Stacy from Temple, TX – Verified Buyer
Although it has lots of room for a larger bird as shown in picture with a Cockatoo on the cage, my cockatoo bit through all wires of the door I had fastened shut and had free reign of the house to tear up while I was at work! Very thin bars, perfect for smaller birds such as conures but the medium to large birds can snip right through the bars in a snap!
Astounded by the quality!
Zoe from Ottawa, ON – Verified Buyer
I am astounded by the quality of this cage. All parts fit together and it went together without a hitch. I was apprehensive because I bought two, but after putting the first one together I have no regrets. First, it's a nice looking cage. I got the black model which is not solid black, it's kind of a mottled silver-black. Very nice. It is not ornate in design which is fine, because the usable space is maximized as opposed to the dome-roof-type cages. It moves around smoothly, the door mechanism works well, and overall I could wish for better. I feel like I spent much more than I did! The downsides: -The instructions are hard to figure out. There are no real diagrams and no way to know which screws go where. But just get started (it is packed well in that each piece you need is the one at the top of pile) and it will all become clear. It can be done by one person. -The cage does not sit securely on the frame. There are little tabs that hold the cage in place but they are not strong enough. If the cages falls forward or back the tabs will bend under the weight. Another reviewer resolved this by affixing some plastic ties to the cage and frame, and I followed her example. Very easy fix. - What are the spare parts for? There are a number of spare bits - a couple screws, some black tabby things. Some might be extras, others left me wondering. I am keeping them in case, but I think that some are extras, and the other parts are vestigial, included for a model that has since been slightly modified. All in all, GREAT buy. Nice cage, amazing value. Most important, my conure settled in like it was home immediately!
Really nice cage
Mary from Pittsburgh, PA – Verified Buyer
When this arrived, the box was badly damaged and I was almost afraid to open it. Fortunately, the cage was fine. I got the sandstone and like someone else commented, there was a pinkish tint to it when you see it up close. Once it is assembled, it's really not noticeable and is a nice neutral shade. The cage assembles very easily - all the holes line up perfectly and it goes together quickly. I knew the cage was large, but it is REALLY huge. I guess I will have to get some friends for my baby parakeet! You definitely will need additionall perches, too. Overall, a good, sturdy cage at good price.
Very pleased! Great quality at a reasonable price!
MaryJo from Winston Salem, NC – Verified Buyer
I ordered the black and am very pleased with the color, sturdiness, the ample room and very reasonable price. It was not too difficult to put together-the instructions were rather vague but common sense told us which parts go where. Our sun conure loves being able to spread his wings and fly inside, even though much of his time is spent outside sitting on the top! I highly recommend this product.

This is a great cage, works out for my Jenday Conure all the room he needs. with plenty of room for all his toys. shipping was also great came on time and packaging was great. The only thing was the food trays were cracked. But I use different type of trays.

Great Cage for two GCC
Amanda from Ontario – Verified Buyer
My two GCC have lots of room. The cage needed two people to put together, but is over all a nice cage. I did have to use ties on the lower grill as it slides loosely in the cage and even my little guys could push it out.
