I travel a lot & first saw this type heater in Rome at a bunch of the sidewalk cafes. Very cool. But I didn't want to pay the extra cost for a heater just for the cool factor. Well, I stupidly ordered the 'table' to put on this heater due to a gross misunderstanding of what I was looking at in a photo. I then had the table that you add on to the heater, but no heater. We decided to go ahead & bite the bullet & get the heater.
Nice Addition for the patio!

Bought this as a Mother's Day present. At first when I read the reviews about the assembly I was leery. However my boyfriend had no trouble putting it together. It took about 1 hour from start to finish! As other reviews said it's not super hot, but really who is out doors when it's freezing cold? It looks very classy lit up and is a definite conversation piece. It's large so a large space is required. I just returned from Rome Italy and a lot of the outdoor cafés had these same style heaters, so they must be in style :)
Do not agree with other reviews......

Well worth the money, if you search the web price wise its even better. Heat output is pretty good, if you looking for a heater to warm you at 40 degrees outside temp, this is not it, but it will heat a screen room at 50 degrees to a pleasant temp, and its nice to watch as well. Seems like some reviews want an indoor furnace instead of something to take the chill off. Personally, I would buy another one any day !

Looks lovely on our porch. Only gripe is that it does not produce that much heat. Works for me since I live in Southern California, but I can imagine it not being able to keep up with harsh winters.

Not too hard to put together, but definitely purchase it for the looks rather than the actual heat. You DO get a fair amount of heat from it but don't expect it to warm up a party. Great for small balconies/outside living areas.

This is a great heater and looks very stylish. There really aren't any cons as it was simple to put together so much so I allowed my 6 year old to read the directions and tell me what to do. It is somewhat overpriced for the size but I needed it for a table. Overall happy with it.
Looks great, somewhat small heat radius.

Heater looks fantastic and puts out decent heat for about a 2ft radius. I would not buy as a primary heater for outdoor entertaining, but it makes a great outdoor decoration and can keep a few people warm huddled up near it.
Better than others reviewed

Heat is nominal, longer ita on, larger area ita warming. 400sq ft was no problem. After 50 degrees, go inside, its not going to work at that liw a temp......

Great heater, with beautiful dancing flames for warmth. Just as we had seen at resort hotels. Would recommend this purchase

I recently put this on my deck and it's awesome. It puts out a good amount of heat and looks great. I've gotten compliments from everyone who has seen it so far.
