A.R.T. Regal Sleigh Bedroom Collection

We've had this truly beautiful set for a year. (bought Mar. '11). We have most all the pieces, even the bench, and they're really beautiful, Color is somewhat darker than it appears in the photos, dark enough to show dust quite well (!!), but the dark, rich color and interesting real burl veneer patterns contribute greatly to the beauty and make each piece unique. The website photos don't even do it justice. As far as function, all drawers slide beautifully, and the cedar-lined bottom drawers and felt-lined hidden jewelry drawers add real elegance -- plus convenience, and the "secret" drawers are just plain NEAT! The sleigh-style leather headboard is satisfyingly soft and incredibly comfortable, and slanted just right.for reading or watching tv in bed. Get this set -- you will love it. As far as Batista Furniture, they were wonderful to deal with, and the set arrived in perfect condition, sooner than promised, with immaculate white glove delivery and set-up. It was perfect!

[...] the dresser was not solid wood. It was layers of thin wood that split like a fan when hit. Other than that, the furniture style is magnificent. Would have like a little better wood craftmanship for the price.
