Sleek and contemporary. No cushion on the chairs - I wasn't quite sure about that when I ordered it. I really took a chance with this order because I couldn't find a furniture store that carried it in their showroom, so I gave Wayfair a shot. It did take a while to get here - it traveled across the country, but it was worth the wait. I love, love, love that the table leafs store inside the table. The gentlemen that delivered & assembled the table took the time to show me how to store the leafs or extend the table. Great service and gorgeous table! Would recommend. Was this helpful? Yes / No

Wanted an everyday table (we don't have an eat-in-kitchen) but also a nice-looking table for holidays. This is perfect, with the 3 leaves, it will go from homework to Thanksgiving meals. Gorgeous almost black color. And, sturdy. Sleek sturdy chairs also. I lean toward contemporary pieces, but I can see this working in various style homes. Ordered May 10 and didn't receive until June 7th, because it had to cross the entire country over to me in NJ... but it was carefully handled, assembled quickly by the delivery gentlemen, and completely worth the wait!
