The set was easy to put together and it looks great in our kitchen. We were leary of ordering online but I was set on this set. I studied several different lines and this one seemed like the best quality and workmanship. I was right. My husband was pleased with the purchase. The chairs have a nice feel when you sit on them. I would love to get the matching buffet but think that may be to much black. Will keep searching for a dark oak buffet that would match the top of the table.

This set is very sturdy, durable constructed furniture, that is quite easy to assemble. In fact, the table really only required the legs to be bolted with a couple nuts. (The studs were already in place.) The chairs were actually more involved to assemble, but are very solid, and come in a very compact package. All hardware was included, even little tubes of glue. Packaging was very effective, and everything arrived in great condition, completely damage free.

Delivery was right to my door, and worked well. The packaging, while effective, was not excessive, mostly cardboard. I would imagine that disposal in a residential garbage service would be a little challenge, I am in a very rural setting, and was able to simply burn it.

Very sturdy, beautiful table. It did take me 5 hours to put it all together but the finished product was well worth it. Being distressed, it has little tiny holes scatter in the table top and chairs. You can't see that in the picture. I liked it but my husband had to get used to the holes.

This set is very sturdy. I was actually surprised by the weight of the table and chairs. I purchased the black and I am very happy with the color combination. The fact that the set is solid hardwood is what sold me on this purchase. I also purchased the sideboard and that is very nice too. Great quality for a great price![...]

We are extremely pleased with the overall quality of this set...totally exceeded my expectations. EVen paying almost [$] for a table set, you should expect good quality...but the way things are made and sold today you can't always be certain. Especially when ordering online. I've had nothing but good experiences with Wayfairs online and will continue to purchase from them. My husband was very pleased to see on the boxes that they weren't made in China. We like to try and buy American made things, but this was made in Malaysia and we couldn't be happier with it. Fits perfectly into our dining area and it's just overall a beautiful piece. I know we will have this table set for years to come. Very well made. My husband does a lot of woodworking and builds furniture, so he can tell a good quality piece when he sees one. I didn't hear him complain once while putting it together. Thanks so much!
