I REALLY Like This Piece
David from Montclair, VA – Verified Buyer
Living in a townhouse, I have the typical living room/dining room combination. In an effort to create more of a two-room feel, I put this between the two rooms along the same line as the drop-ceiling that divides the room. This was the first - and only - room divider that I saw that had the display shelves, which I thought was unique. And it really works well. The wood in both rooms is espresso, so this fits in well with the decor of both "rooms". I particularly like the fact that it has feet on either end. A lot of room dividers don't. So the stability is better than with most. Which means you do not have to create too great zig-zag in the panels. Which was better for my use, since I wanted it to extend as long as possible. The feet allow that. Nevertheless, you'll want to keep the kids away from it . . . I've had several compliments on the display shelf feature, which played a big role in why I selected this piece. The paper, of course, is very thin, so it will not withstand any abuse, but . . . it's paper. Bottom line, well built, great design, divides the space with style.

I finally got around to setting up my room divider after 3 weeks (or so). I pulled it out of the box and was pleasantly surprised and how rich the wood looked. It looks like an expensive piece. The only thing that I was disappointed about was there were supposed to be holes drilled in the side to attach the feet but I could not find any so I had to do it myself. I was somewhat successful at it but I was a little off so the divder is a bit wobbly and my floors are not completely flat (I have ceramic tile) so that's something to consider. So far it has been knocked over once by my 2 year old niece so I need to put somethhing heavy on the bottom shelf to help hold it down. As far as looks, I think it's very nice as the openings in the divider are pretty large and do not completely cut off the rooms I am dividing. I intend to purchase another one so I can completely divide the room. I would recommend this tem to others looking for something different to add flair to a boring room.

This is perfect for what I needed, I love the little shelves as I can change the décor on them to fit the holiday or season. The only negative thing I have to say is that it did not come with the holes predrilled for attaching the feet, but the wood is pretty soft and with minimal effort I was able to attach them with the screws that came with it and a screwdriver. . It came quickly and was packaged well.
I like it so much I want another

This is a very nice screen and the shelves for display are why I chose it over just a plain screen. it allows light through but provides enough privacy for my office. The only negative is that there were supposed to be pre-drilled holes to screw in the "feet" for stability, but there were no holes. We will have to drill them ourselves. Other than that, great item at a very reasonable price!
