too shallow for audio components
David from ME – Verified Buyer
This is a nice looking cabinet which met our aesthetic needs. Solid doors to hide clutter (no glass) and an open central shelf for a center speaker (why build one without a central open shelf for the center speaker?). It is not overly rugged; somewhat typical for RTA furniture. I added a few nails and glue to help it out. Pretty straightforward to assemble. But why, why, why, do furniture manufacturers build an entertainment cabinet that won't fit an audio receiver?? This seems fundamental. Would you build a toaster that doesn't toast? So why would you build entertainment furniture that won't hold an essential piece of audio equipment? I own a regular Yamaha receiver, not some esoteric audiophile thing but I had to butcher the back panel to make it work. Basically, the receiver would almost fit if nothing was plugged into it, so I had to cut holes through the back everywhere a connection was made. I have a DVD player directly on top of it, but the wires had to go out through the back and in through new holes to plug into the receiver. I also had to cut holes even for the speaker binding posts that had no connections! There are a few 20 inch deep TV stands out there. I would look at those instead. It's a shame too because I really like the look of the Crosley's but they are all too shallow.
You get what you pay for!

We purchased this TV stand a little over 6 months ago. We have since replaced one center door 3 times and are now missing both side doors. It did arrive well packaged, however, there were a few minorly damaged pieces that Wayfair quickly sent replacements for. Assembly was as expected and took about an hour and a half with easy to follow instructions. This piece is advertised as hardwood with veneer, so I was not expecting solid hardwood, especially for the reasonable price. Although, I was expecting something that would last more than a few months. This stand does look very nice (when it has all the doors, of course!) and we have received many compliments on it. It looks like wood but I have yet to discover what part of it is actually wood. I thought the doors were wood until my apparently very strong 1-year-old son barely pushed the right door a little too far and it broke exposing the particle board insides. Less then a week later we lost the left door in the same manner. So, to make a long story short, this TV stand looks very nice but is cheap and will not last. If you are looking for a temporary piece, I suggest saving your money and spending 13 less at the bulls eye store. If you are looking for something that will last, invest 3x more and get what you pay for. On a side note, Wayfair does have top notch customer service and I will be buying from them in the future.
Exactly what I expected!

After searching for the perfect TV Stand, I decided to order the Alexandria 60". Delivery was prompt, however, the shipment was split into two packages (delivering on consecutive days). The bulk of the TV stand was shipped in one box, which allowed my fiance to assemble within a couple hours. Very heavy and well built! We are happy with the product! Pros: durable, easy assembly

Just received this tv stand. One piece arrived damaged, which is why I docked it one star, but the stand itself seems to be very sturdy. It's very heavy! We haven't put it together yet bc I'm going to have to request a replacement piece, but I think I'm really going to like it when it's put together.
Nice mahogany stand!

Lovely piece. Bought the matching boers too! The 60" stand was roughly handled during shipping- box open on one end and wood pieces exposed. Found one chunk off during assembly but was able to glue on and continue assembly. Love the look holding my 60" TV.
Very good value

I really like the TV stand. So far so good with it. It is what I thought it would be from what I saw online. It looks great.
