Just what I wanted
Mary from Urbana, IL – Verified Buyer
This is a gorgeous piece of furniture. After not finding anything in the local stores, I took to the internet. I wanted a TV stand that was a little taller, not too deep and that wouldn't completely dominate the room. I couldn't be more pleased with this selection. It arrived in just a couple of days and had the most detailed assembly instructions I've ever seen. My only complaint is that the clips that hold the glass in the doors require a tiny, tiny screwdriver, so it took some time to get them attached. However, when completed, I was delighted to find that this is exactly what I wanted. It's sturdy, has great storage space, easily holds my 42" TV, and the concern I had about the bottom shelf bowing was eliminated immediately because there's actually a little "foot" that supports the center of the shelf. Perfect for my room and at about half the cost of the ones I saw in the stores.
The Style is What You Pay For

First and foremost, this stand looks fantastic once it is set up. You can tell when you look at it closely that the materials are not the highest quality, and the finish leaves strange fingerprints that take a bit of scrubbing (I have used a Magic Eraser and a microfiber cloth with a mild vinegar/water solution) to get free, but sitting there it has a nice appeal and adds to the room. The first thing that irritated me was the assembly. The instructions were perfectly fine, but the pre-drilled holes seemed a tad small. I was able to assemble the whole thing by myself, though it recommends a two-person assembly, in about four hours. The next thing that was less than perfect was the glass assembly and how the panes sit once installed. The stand ships with several round, thin washers that you screw in, and those are the only things that hold the panes in place. They do not form a tight seal, and added foam, rubber, or cardboard is absolutely necessary to keep the glass from rattling. I tried reversing the washers, thinking I maybe read the instructions incorrectly, but they didn't even hold the glass when screwed in the other way. It would have been nice if the unit shipped with some kind of rubber or foam to place between the washers and the glass. I did really like that the hardware included many extra pieces, which ended up being necessary at times because they are of low quality and sometimes came cracked, and one piece even broke while trying to use it. Overall, it is a good looking unit, and I think it's worth the price. I don't know if I will think so if I find something similar at a similar price in a local store that I don't have to assemble. I think a large part of this piece's price tag is style. I've had furniture with similar quality that I've gotten for about half the price, but it wasn't nearly as attractive.

I looked at so many different TV stands and finally chose this one for it's contemporary look and taller height. I read many of the reviews which were pretty positive. It did take me about five hours to assemble. It would have gone a bit faster if my screw gun was working (even though they say not to use one), or I had had help. Following the directions was easy though. I've put together a lot of furniture similar to this. I would caution people about over tightening, in particular the bolts that lock the pieces together. Several of them broke, but I was glad to see there were a few extras, so I had enough. I'll be placing mine on some silicone sliders to make it easier to move on the carpet since it is somewhat heavy. Also will be adding some pieces inside at the back to help secure it to the wall since I live in earthquake country. There is an additional support on the bottom in the center of the shelf which gives it more support and stability. I have yet to place my electronics in it and find out whether overheating or lack of ventilation is a problem as some reviews had said, but I'm not worried. Seems easy to make more holes in the back if necessary. The finish is nice, and mine arrived quickly and without any issues. I would recommend this piece.
Absolutely perfect TV stand

I looked at literally dozens of TV stands, in stores and online, and even considered having one made, when I found this stand at Wayfair. It is taller, which I needed, and has the look of a piece that would have cost twice as much. It took a while to put together, but that's because I did it alone. The instructions are so detailed that just about anyone could follow them. The part that frustrated me was attaching the clips that hold the glass in the doors, because it requires a tiny, tiny screwdriver, and it was hard to get a good grip in it. This stand is very well made and my only concern going in - that the bottom shelf would bow - is not even an issue because there is a little foot under the middle of the shelf! Great planning! I could not be happier with this stand and with Wayfair. Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting an end to my search.
LOVE it even more than I thought I would!

I bought this product on Tuesday after 3 pm and it arrived at my house 10 am the next day!! I was so shocked (in a good way) at how fast it was! When it arrived I told my husband that we needed to get a babysitter and have a whole day to set this up because I know assembly can be a pain... We started putting it together and had the entire outside structure done within an hour. Went to bed and the next day while my husband was at work I FINISHED it within 30 minutes. This is by far the easiest thing I have ever assembled. We had extra of most of the hardware, which we didn't end up needing, and it looks AMAZING set up. It seems very sturdy and strong. I love the look it brought my living room and I HAVE recommended this product to friends and family who saw it and loved it as well. To sum it up quickly: The EASIEST assembly I have ever had, Looks fantastic, amazing price! You just cant beat it!
Challenging to Assemble
Babette from Mauldin, SC
Finished product was beautiful and the price was comparable to other places I shopped, probably even cheaper because shipping was free at Wayfair. There were 2 of us putting it together following the step by step instructions and 2 different times we had to call the company for help. They were awesome and understanding, but it did get frustrating for us because we had to take apart all the work we had done to fix a small, yet important piece that was not labeled correctly. I love the profile of this piece of furniture, it takes up half the space as the older cabinet that we used for a tube TV. I like the fact that the 2 drawers are made to perfectly fit our DVD's each drawer will fit about 21 DVD's. The bottom shelf is nice to place baskets for extra DVD's or knick knacks.
Cute, but very time consuming and frustrating to assemble.

The final product turned out cute and seems to be sturdy, despite not being able to get several of the cam locks to catch on the cam bolts. However, it took an entire day to put together because there were so many little pieces of hardware and the quality of the hardware was horrible (way worse than any past 'assembly required' furniture I've purchased from a big box retailer)! The screws stripped easily and the cam locks bent and broke before they could even be fully put in place. Assembling this was extremely frustrating!

Terrible product. Received item damaged, had to wait for another one. Took a couple hours to put together and the "tools" mainly the cam locks literally we're breaking apart and falling out of the wood. Holes didn't line up or were not there. The price seemed great but I wouldn't recommend this item if it was free. We spend hundreds on this site and this is the first bad product we have gotten. Re thinking what we buy :-(
nightmare to assemble
barbara from long island – Verified Buyer
The first TV stand I received came with 2 left panels and no right panel. My husband tried to adjust and improvise but it became frustrating and labor intensive. It seemed like nothing fit right & he finally called Wayfair. The customer service dept was great and sent us another unit which he and his buddy (a carpenter for 40 years) were able to put together in 4 hours. Obviously this piece is not easy to assemble. I gave it 3 stars because it is a nice sturdy piece of furniture that looks more expensive than it was. Just the right size & looks great in my den.

I read reviews re assembly and did not have same problems. It did take a while, but going slowly, and following directions carefully -- making sure orientation was same as pictures -- the only help I needed was placing top piece. Even got my doors balanced! The screw hole issue in the back many didn't like? There should not be any in my opinion, as screw holes might weaken bond. Simply line up screws and apply pressure. Cabinet is heavy and looks fab. There is a little bit of rattle with glass doors, and am going to get felt as another buyer mentioned. Looks awesome!
