Good Deal for the Price The table SHOULD go together in less than 10 minutes but because it had rust on the bolts and inside the cap nuts it took 40. You will need WD 40, automotive sandpaper and cotton swabs. The slate is sealed to protect the water from penetrating to the wood platform below. You will need a 916 cresent wrench and a 14mm racketing socket wrench. This is not in the instructions. The bolts have 4.8 written on them Pay Attention! I forgot to check the height of the item. I did not purchase the insurance - then if you want to return it you have to pay shipping both ways which is 13 the cost of the item. |

Acceptable For The Price The tabletop had slight damage due to puncture of carton. Should be packed right side in to prevent this. Was able to make repair ourselves. Picture does not illustrate the patchwork of color and uneven surface. Fortunately we are able to work with it. |

Bistro Table I love the table. Better than what I had imagined! The tables are used on our lounge area on the deck. |

Nice table This table looks great and the slate has lovely color. It appears to be well made and sturdy. We are using it in a retail setting and it fits in perfectly with our decor. Thanks |

Great table I love this table. It looks so much better than the photo. It has a beautiful slate top and is heavy and substantial. Love it in my garden. |

Not quite what I expected The slate top looks like resin, not actual slate, but it is attractive enough and sturdy. The quality ofthe table is decent. Assembly was not difficult. |

Table Tops! The slate table arrived ahead of schedule and some assembly was required. There were four metal legs, a metal ring to tie the legs in together, 24 nuts/bolts and the top of the table. All the parts were accounted for, and I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the assembly went. The table top, composed of five fitted sheets of various-toned, variegated slate, sits nice and level, and I'm quite confident that it will prove to be durable. Indeed, the table is a very handsome, well-designed, sturdy piece of furniture. Apparently, the metal parts of the table were treated with some kind of powder so the table can be used outdoors -- which is where it's presently located. Oregon's coastal rains should thoroughly test the effect of exposure to the elements. |

Very pleased! [...] Heavier than I expected. Took a few minutes to figure out how to assemble but I was able to do it. It was bigger than I thought it would be which is a plus. Very sturdy. Looks very nice, 3 chairs would fit nicely. |

a strong beauty a strong, sturdy table. Good design, and the size accomodates 3 for lunch easily. The slate top is beautiful in quality and coloring, in 5 pieces, even with the one off-colored greenish piece in there - in this particular design. With 2 large-sized patio dining-chairs next to it, even this small-sized table holds its own and stands out. |

Pretty little table but too much rust Ordered this to use as a bistro table for our patio and the price was very reasonable, however, when it arrived it had to be assembled and all of the bolts were rusted, so it was difficult to unjam them. We used a hammer to break up all of the rust. After it was assembled, it does look nice, but I'm not so sure how it will hold up with the rusted bolts. If you're looking for an inexpensive table, I would recommend this, but you do get what you pay for. |
