Nice looking addition to my living room.

Let me start by saying this-I am a 60 year old female with no experience in assembling something this big so I was hesitant to do it myself, but the wonderful woman I spoke to in customer service said she thought I could do it myself and save the $140 assembly charge. Well, she was right! I have never felt so empowered. It took me about 3 1/2 hours. I gave the piece only 4 stars because there were some faint scratches right out of the box and the finish seems to chip easier than I had hoped, but the unit is really nice looking. Instructions are easy to follow although daunting at first. I was expecting the doors or shelves to be off center and not line up right but was wrong again. Nice piece at a great price. Very satisfied!
Good, quality product

I received this unit and assembled it just over a week ago and it is a good, quality product. The shape, appearance, and quality actually exceeded my expectations. Yes, it took about 4 solid hours to build but that was expected. The size 48" is perfect for my 46" flat-screen tv (A 50" stand would also work as the stand, in my opinion, should be slightly larger than the tv.) Just one note on the assembly... The last piece to assemble is a simple one; you have to simply snap the glass doors into place. However, make sure you do so with the magnet on the top! Stupidly, I snapped the pieces into place with the magnets on the bottom so I had to remove the magnetic plates and put them where they had to go, because once the doors are "snapped in" there is no turning back! Just a friendly word of caution...
Very nice piece of furniture

This TV stand was as advertised. Glad I chose the Mahogany color, too. The glass being already installed in the doors was a big plus over the other stand I bought. That step, and no adjustable hinges saved a lot of time putting it together. My only complaint with following the directions, was at the very beginning. When installing the shelf (E) to a side panel (A or B), there was no warning to be sure you don't install it facing the wrong way. I should've realized the shelf shouldn't cover the slots in the side panels for the rear panels to slide into, but didn't read all the way through the steps to the end before starting. It wasn't too difficult to remove it, and re-install it facing the right way. I thought I'd have to take the whole thing apart and start over, but with a little help from the giggling wife, it worked out ok. I guess putting together two TV stands from different manufacturers back to back, you get a little goofy. They did mention it might be easier for two people to build...
Perfect piece of furniture.

I have media niche that is 47.5 inch wide so I was limited to put only upto 50" TV. I needed bigger tv to put there. I ordered this corner TV stand and I placed that in my media niche (which is 24 inch deep and 47.5 inch wide). Since TV STAND designed to put in corner it has rear tapering angles. So half depth of TV STAND is in media nitch and half depth is popping out of media nitch. TV STAND part that pop out of media nitch (10" base) can accommodate 55-60" TV easily. Wire clutter behind TV stand and AV components are hidden behind glass door (your remote would work through glass). It's great finish that match my hardwood floor. It made of MDF or composite board and real wood veneer. So it looks high end furniture. It's great price with great look. Even though you assemble it, it looks like you bought from furniture store like Ashley or hooker. I could buy it online with great confidence since it has very accurate diagram with accurate measurements online.
Okay for your first furniture- Disappointing for your grown up house

One screw. One final screw didn't want to go from base into one of the interior walls. The side backs also didn't want to slide in nicely. Even if it went together perfectly I have to give the construction quality of the pieces a C. As a corner unit I don't see how the safety strap could ever be used easily. Placing a corner unit on a standard wall means there will be a gap at the corner. The strap would need to be connected at the mid point of the hypotenuse of the triangle to the wall; that is the longest distance. I actually got up from the computer to see if the strap would fit. It didn't. This piece does looks rich. I just don't think that it is very durable. I am lucky that mandatory moves are not in my future. It reminded me of Sauder products. And of all the Sauder products I had when I started out my adult life only 1 of 5 remain and that is because I have too many books to make it into scrap wood.
Great TV Stand! Exactly what I was looking for!

This product was a great price compared to going to a furniture store. The wood looks real and it is very sturdy and heavy. Assembly was a little time consuming, but not hard. There is plenty of storage space. We fit our bluray player, modem, xbox, and surround sound system in middle sections, and in the two sides cabinets we put a bunch of our dvds. There is some wasted space behind the dvds due to the back corners being diagonal (for it to fit in a corner), but altogether the storage is great. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the round legs did not come in the same box as the rest of it, so my husband put it all together without it and got it in place and a couple of days later the legs came. We didn't want to take everything out of it to put them on, so it is just sitting flat on the floor.
Couldn't be happier

This is my first purchase from this site and I love it! It arrived quickly and in good shape. It wasn't difficult to put together and all the holes lined up perfectly. It is made from good quality materials and it looks really great. The color is rich and beautiful and the glass in the doors is heavy and crystal clear. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture. The doors open and close smoothly and have a magnet closure. All I needed to assemble it was a Phillips screwdriver. And I found it easy to assemble, all by myself, and I am a 105 lb woman--none of it was strenuous. I highly recommend this piece of furniture, you won't regret it.
Looks good once assembled, but……..

When I received the package, the box was a bit "beat up". Upon opening the carton everything seemed to be in satisfactory condition. While putting the item together, two of the pieces began to fall off and broke. Luckily, I had some "L" brackets handy and I was able to reattach the two pieces and continue with assembly. The piece looks good now that it is assembled, however, the entire unit is pressed board. The front left door has a big deep scratch on it and the right side panel has huge blobs of very dark stain which appears to have dropped on it. The nicest part of the piece is the doors. It is definitely not worth what I paid for it. Maybe half. I think I'm done purchasing items that must be assembled. For the money, this should have been wood and should have been fully assembled.
Beautiful TV Stand

So happy that I ordered this through Wayfair! It is a beautiful furniture piece. Pros: easy to assemble. Looks like it was expensive! Cons: One small piece of trim was broken on the back. Wish the screws would have been the same color as the wood however they are also in the back so not a major problem.
Attractive piece of furniture

We searched for 6 months in stores with no luck. Then found this on Wayfair. So pleased with the appearance and function of this TV stand. Pros: Attractive piece Cons: Problems putting it together. At one point my husband had to trim with a saw to make things fit properly. Lucky for me he was more than willing to fix it.
