AngryinDC from Washington, D.C.	1.0 4/12/2011 Ridiculously short cord & other issues Well, once again I am disappointed in something I bought from Wayfair, due to an inadequate product description on the website. When the product arrived, it clearly stated on the box that the birdbath "mounts to 2" by 4" rail or 2" by 6" rail." Wouldn't this information have been helpful on the website description? Well, it was not listed on the website, and of course it does not fit property on our balcony railing. (We had to rig it with a block of wood.)I was horrified when I took the item out of the box and discovered that the cord is only 3 inches long!!! This requires you to buy another outdoor cord (They recommend buying a LockNDry plug connector, again written on the box but not the website.) So, add an additional cord to the price of this birdbath.Also, the picture that you will see on the website features a nice, neat-looking birdbath with no cord. Add to that picture a messy-looking cord hanging off (and wrapped around your deck railing.) My biggest complaint with this, though, is that in order to use the quick-release function and reomove the bird bath from the railing, you have to unplug it and bring the cord with you! (The cord is attached to the bird bath and not the deck mounting). We have our extra cord wrapped around the railing to try to make it look cleaner, so we can't use the quick-release feature at all without completely unwrapping the cord each time.I can't believe that I have once again been tricked by the inadequate (and sometimes, just completely wrong) product descriptions on this website.
